About The Jefferson Parole Project

Founded in 2023, the Jefferson Parole Project will offer a one-year reentry mentoring program for men and women who have served long prison sentences. We work closely with the area chambers of commerce, businesses and local probation and parole officers to connect candidates with career opportunities and gainful employment.

What We Do

Successful reentry programs restore lives, repair families, improve communities and save taxpayers money.

The Jefferson Parole Project's mission is to operate multiple transitional homes in the Jefferson Parish area for men and women who are rebuilding their lives after incarceration. Candidates will take part in an intensive re-entry program where they will learn social and vocational skills to enable them to meet the expectations of today's society and working environments. In addition to reentry support, the program will offer pro-bono legal representation throughout the entire reentry process.
